Dynamos coach hails supporters ahead of Green Buffaloes clash

Power Dynamos Head Coach Osward Mutapa has praised the Club’s supporters for their unwavering backing, stressing that their presence in the stands remains a key factor in lifting the team’s morale.

Speaking in a pre-match interview yesterday, Mutapa urged fans to turn out in large numbers at Arthur Davies Stadium as ‘Aba Yellow’ push for another crucial victory in their title defence against Green Buffaloes.

“We have always had fantastic fans; the team feeds off the energy from the terraces,” Mutapa said. “We want them in numbers from the first whistle up to the end to cheer our players.”

The Power gaffer insists the team’s focus is on maintaining discipline and delivering in key moments, highlighting consistency as the difference-maker in their pursuit for the top spot.

Power’s confidence has been boosted by an impressive run of results. They recently recorded a 3–1 win over NAPSA Stars, a performance that kept their title defence firmly on course. Just days later, they again underlined their attacking threat with a commanding 3–1 victory over Nchanga Rangers.

With the title race tightening, Power head into the fixture second on the league table with 42 points, just one behind leaders Red Arrows, who currently have 43 points.
