Adil Ramzi set to join Morocco National Team Staff

Former Morocco international Adil Ramzi has reached an agreement with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to join the technical staff of the Moroccan national team under head coach Mohamed Ouahbi.

Ramzi’s appointment comes after the 47-year-old tactician opted to decline an opportunity from the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), who had approached him to take charge of the Netherlands Olympic team. Despite the attractive prospect of leading the Dutch Olympic side, Ramzi chose to commit to Morocco’s national team project.

The former forward, who enjoyed a long-playing career in the Netherlands and represented Morocco at international level, has built a strong reputation in coaching circles in recent years. His experience within European football and deep understanding of Moroccan football structures are expected to strengthen Ouahbi’s technical team.

By joining the national team setup, Ramzi returns to a familiar environment where he previously contributed to the development of young Moroccan players. His decision is viewed as a significant boost for the federation as it continues to reinforce its technical staff ahead of upcoming international competitions.

The FRMF is expected to officially confirm the composition of Ouahbi’s staff in the coming days as preparations continue for Morocco’s next assignments on the international calendar.
