Guinea international midfielder Seydouba Cissé has agreed to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Kholood FC on a three-year contract, bringing an end to his stint with Spanish outfit CD Leganés.
The 24-year-old is set to officially complete the move in July 2026, marking a new chapter in his career after establishing himself as a key figure in Leganés’ midfield. Known for his energy, ball-winning ability, and composure in possession, Cissé has steadily grown into an influential presence both at club level and with the Guinean national team.
Sources indicate that the deal was successfully brokered by his representatives at ROOF, who finalized terms with the Saudi club in recent days.
Cissé’s move is the latest in a growing trend of African and European-based players making the switch to the Saudi Pro League, as clubs continue to invest heavily in talent to raise the league’s competitive profile.
For Al-Kholood, the signing represents a strategic addition to their midfield ranks, with Cissé expected to bring both experience and dynamism ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
His departure will be felt at Leganés, where he developed into a dependable performer, but the move offers the Guinean international a fresh challenge in one of football’s rapidly evolving destinations.
