After conceding defeat in the first leg last Saturday, Nigeria managed to turn things around on Tuesday at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé.
More incisive and better organized, the Super Falcons got the better of the Indomitable Lionesses, winning 3-1 in this friendly return match.
Cameroon had opened the scoring in the 7th minute through Christiane, but Nigeria’s response was swift.
Thanks to goals from Ihezuo in the 32nd minute, Babajide in the 43rd minute, and Alozie in the 64th minute, the visitors turned the tide to seal a clear and flawless victory.
This friendly match between the two giants of African football ended in a balanced result with one win each. Both teams continue to prepare for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
