GPL : Justice Blay Joins Iraqi Side Al Kadhimiya SC on One-Year Deal

Former Asante Kotoko SC midfielder Justice Blay has taken the next step in his professional journey after completing a move to Iraqi league side Al Kadhimiya SC on a one-year contract.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who previously featured prominently for Kotoko, sealed the switch after successfully concluding negotiations with the Iraqi outfit. Blay was officially unveiled by Al Kadhimiya SC and received a warm welcome from his new teammates, marking the start of a fresh chapter in his career.

Blay built a reputation in the Ghana Premier League as a hardworking and disciplined midfielder, known for his tactical awareness and ability to shield the backline while contributing to build-up play. His performances for Kotoko earned him recognition as a reliable presence in midfield, and Al Kadhimiya will be hoping those qualities translate well to the Iraqi league.

The move represents Blay’s first venture into Middle Eastern football, offering him an opportunity to test himself in a new environment and gain valuable international experience. With pre-season preparations underway, the midfielder is expected to quickly settle into the squad as Al Kadhimiya SC look to strengthen their campaign ahead of the new season.

For Justice Blay, the one-year deal is both a challenge and a platform, as he aims to make an immediate impact and establish himself as a key figure in his new surroundings.
