GPL : Hohoe United Handed Three-Match Home Ban and Fined by GFA

Hohoe United FC has been sanctioned by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee following incidents of misconduct during their Ghana Premier League match against Vision FC.

According to the ruling, the committee found Hohoe United guilty of failing to ensure the safety of match officials, allowing unauthorized individuals into restricted areas, and inappropriate conduct by supporters. Fans were reported to have thrown objects onto the pitch during the match, actions that the committee deemed a serious breach of league regulations.

As part of the sanctions, the club has been handed a three-match home ban and fined GHS 30,000. The ban takes immediate effect, meaning Hohoe United will be forced to play their next three home fixtures away from their home ground.

The GFA Disciplinary Committee has also given the club fourteen (14) days to settle the fine from the date of notification. In addition, Hohoe United has received a formal warning that any further misconduct could attract more severe disciplinary measures in the future.
