The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe, has officially arrived in Tanzania this morning to attend the Executive Committee Meeting of the Confederation.
Motsepe was received by the Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Terminal 1, in Dar es Salaam.
Dr. Motsepe will chair the meeting which is expected to take place today at the Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam Hotel, The Kilimanjaro.
The meeting is expected to bring together various football leaders in Africa to discuss important issues concerning the development of football.
Hosting the meeting is a sign of Tanzania’s place on the football map in Africa, especially during this period of preparation for the AFCON 2027 tournament.
