Zambia FA reschedule 2027 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has rescheduled its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) from April 11 to May 9, 2026.

In a notice dated February 22, 2026, FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande says the decision was made to ensure key statutory and governance processes linked to the AGM documentation were met.

The Executive Committee resolved to shift the date to allow for the completion of procedural requirements and to ensure that all affiliates were given adequate time to review circulated materials in line with the Constitution.

The AGM will now take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The venue and time remain unchanged.

“This decision has been taken to safeguard the integrity of our governance processes and to ensure full compliance with the Constitution,” Shepande says.

“It is important that our affiliates are afforded adequate time to scrutinize the audited financial statements and other statutory reports before the meeting.”

The General Secretary says all the relevant documentation would be circulated within the timelines prescribed by the Constitution.

“We regret any inconvenience the rescheduling may cause and thank stakeholders for their continued cooperation and commitment to maintaining strong institutional standards.”

FAZ has advised members to submit proposals for inclusion on the AGM agenda at least 45 days prior to the meeting, as prescribed by the Constitution.
