CAF U15 CHAMPIONSHIP: Billy Pro Sport Donates 20 Pairs of Boots

Billy Pro Sport has donated 20 pairs of football boots to the Zambia Under-15 national team ahead of the Africa Schools Championship which set to take place in Zimbabwe from April 6 to April 10, 2026.

Speaking during the handover, Billy Pro Sport Marketing Manager Reuben Nyirenda said the donation is aimed at supporting the development of young talent in the country.

“We decided to donate these boots to the boys because we want to be part of the crop of rising stars for Zambia. Supporting young players at this stage is important for the future of our football,” the Nyirenda said.

Acting FAZ Deputy General Secretary, Iva Mumba Lengwe expressed gratitude to Billy Pro Sport for the gesture and called for more local support towards national teams.

“We are grateful to Billy Pro Sport for this timely donation. It is encouraging to see institutions coming on board to support our national teams,” Lengwe said.

“We urge more Zambians and organizations to take interest in helping the national teams in whatever way they are able to do, as this plays a key role in the development of the game.”

The Under-15 boys’ and girls’ teams head into the tournament with confidence, having been crowned champions at last year’s regional competition held in South Africa.
